Corporate Charity Cook Off...
Some of Edinburgh's top businessmen and women felt the heat in the kitchen recently when they left their desks behind to take on each other in a cooking challenge - and raised almost £23,000 for charity!
Teams from Artemis Investment Management, Dickson Minto WS and Martin Currie Investment Management went head to head in the kitchen at Restaurant at The Bonham in aid of the Edinburgh Cyrenians Good Food Programme.
Around £23,000 was raised on the night in aid of Cyrenians who work hard to support over 1,000 people a year with accommodation, employment training and improving health.

The Town House Company Wins People Development Thistle Award...
The Town House Company are delighted to have won the People Development Award at the 2007 Thistle Awards.
The category was open to all tourism and hospitality businesses in Scotland that could demonstrate success in staff development.
At each of the Town House Hotels, every new employee is enrolled in a 'learning journey'. This is a twelve week programme which includes a local and company wide induction and a 10 day training plan. There is then a further commitment of 40 training hours per year.
