Luxury Spa Hotels Glasgow City Centre

Blythswood Square in Glasgow city centre is the newest, most magnificent addition to The Town House Collection of luxury boutique hotels in Scotland. 

We are unbelievably proud to have acquired this splendid, landmark property, which commands one side of Blythswood Square, a lovely, green space in the centre of the city of Glasgow. The building dates from 1823, and was previously the home of the Royal Scottish Automobile Club. We are now in the process of transforming it into a truly gorgeous, 5-star, luxury hotel and spa, to open by the middle of 2009.

As with its sister Town House Collection hotels in Edinburgh (The Howard, The Bonham, Channings, The Edinburgh Residence), Blythswood Square represents the skilful and tasteful remodelling of a fine, period building into a boutique hotel with its own personality and style. As a luxury hotel and spa, Blythswood Square will retain some original architectural features, such as marble fireplaces, wood panelling and lofty, ornate ceilings, and against this aristocratic backdrop we are applying sympathetic, rich, textural design.
