Restaurant Reviews at Blythswood Square, Glasgow

I bought this deal from Itison and it was for 2 courses for 2 people for either lunch or dinner. It was amazing. Had been in here about 16 months ago to collect relatives staying here and stopped for just tea/coffee. It was lovely and I made a mental note to give it a try sometime. When this deal came up, it was an excellent opportunity to give it a go. My friend, Ruby, is just recovering from major surgery so I thought this would be a lovely treat.The market menu is quite limited but the food on offer was gorgeous. Ruby had a ham hock terrine with melba toast for starter + I enjoyed the delicious smoked cod with salad garnish. It was microscopic but we had been brought some very welcomed bread (onion, sundried tomato + rosemary + all lovely too). I then had a rather beautiful grilled hake fillet with spring onion mash and a delicious sauce. Ruby opted for the recommended roast chicken + loved it. We decided to order some twice fried chunky chips on the side + they were gorgeous but perhaps our eyes had been bigger than our bellies (if only that was possible). It was all washed down with a delicious bottle of Chardonnay. We were looked after by a few staff including Tanya + Marta and Louise. Lovely service + lovely food + I am really looking forward to going back to bring my husband next time! Cheers guys - delicious for sure! Xx

16 of us dined here to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Service, food, everything was perfect. We've had 3 x 70th birthdays to celebrate already this year and blythswood was by far the best meal and best service we've experienced - that's me comparing with other 5 star hotels. We'll definitely be back!

Another wonderful dining experience ... presentation and atmosphere superb as for the food ... simply amazing!! Look forward to returning again soon we hope.

Stayed for one night last year we had a great time food was so good we have booked a table for this Tuesday

Had afternoon tea with my sister for a catch up - it was delightfull the sever was extremly attentive and polite, will be returning when possible
