We ate in the restaurant on 27th October. As it was a special occasion we were hoping for something special, but were a bit disappointed. Although the setting is wonderful (gorgeous decor, tasteful, interesting and stylish) we thought the food was disappointing - and overpriced! I wouldn't mind paying £10.50 for a starter of scallops if there was plenty of them, but to only have 3 average-sized ones was poor. My main course was supposed to be grilled fish, but it appeared to be fried. And it was VERY salty - I did tell the waitress this but she didn't seem to know how to deal with a complaint (as her response was simply, "Oh. It was salty?" ). My husband's lamb was very nice though. It's a shame as I was expecting better, and I think for the price of the bill, it should have been.

Brought my mum here recently for her birthday and both really enjoyed it.My mum hadn't eaten anywhere like this before and was quite impressed.Portions from Market menu look small but the taste is BIG !! The food was delicious, staff very attentive but not over powering, very relaxed enviroment and would recommend, will be back.

Another wonderful meal at Blythswood with our 3 children. Drinks upstairs first then mostly food off the contemporary menu. The kids love it. Was eldest's 18th and the bar made him a Blythswood Smirnoff Ice and special happy birthday fondants at the end of meal. Worth every penny!

There are plenty of places to choose to eat and drink in Glasgow but my girlfriends and I always come here for cocktails and dinner. It never fails to delight. The staff are great (the cocktail waiters are a mine of expert info on what to try), the place is relaxed, the food is superb and great value for money. Plus the décor is fantastic.....if you think Harris tweed is a rough boring moss green think again. Urban Scotland with a modern Highland twist at its best.

sampled your Snoozy Boozy lunch with friends on a cold Sunday. The food was excellent, good balance of flavours and well presented. Service was very good - attentive but allowing us plenty of time to digest and pause before the next course. A warming experience in all senses of the word. Are returning with different friends to repeat the experience!
