Was at the hotel on Friday 3rd Feb with friends for an overnight saty and dinner. Cannot thank you enough for a wonderful experience. The meal was amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Saving up to return asap.

I ate here for the first time in November with no great expectations as often hotels don't pay as much attention to their restaurants as a restaurant does. However I enjoyed the whole experience so much that I came back in January, both the market menu and a la carte have something to cater for every taste (and dietary requirement. Wine List also has a good selection to please throughout the price range. Highly recommended and now on my list of regular eateries.

My friend and i go somewhere sepcial for a christmas lunch every year in Dec and i think we would both say this has been the best yet. The week before christmas can demonstrate a restaurant's worse side and the food can often be bland and choice limited however not on this occasion. A beautiful setting, fantastic service and the food was simply wonderful. What added to a lovely day was that, despite it being so busy, we were under no pressure to finish up or leave our table. All in all a perfect experience.

We had a Christmas night out booked in the restaurant. The food was excellent and seating area was very comfortable. The initial service of bring drinks was a little slow but overall a lovely dining experience. After dinner we went up stairs for a cocktail which was excellent.

My girlfriend and I came here for our Christmas Eve dinner. We were a little early so shown upstairs for drinks. The Salon bar is nice, if a little chilly, but the service was very slow. We waited a long time for drinks despite sitting next to the bar. Downstairs, the service was exemplary, as was the food. Would definitely go back.
