Restaurant Reviews at Blythswood Square, Glasgow

Went with wife on christmas eve and has to be one of the best steaks I have tasted. All food was excellent and service was first class - can't beat sipping cocktails in the Salon pretending your 007...

Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch experience at the Blythswood as a birthday treat. The food was superb, just the right quantity given the time of day, and the surroundings perfect to enjoy a long leisurely afternoon meal. The service was attentive without being overfacing. Overall would highly recommend.

Birthday lunch for my wife, in luxurious surroundings well highlighted by winter sun. Enjoyed two/three hour lunch and staff were both knowledgeable and attentive. Wine supereb even though it was not expensive service was timed nicely although chef had some problems with chocolate souffle a difficult one to master! this was deducted from our bill which was certainly less than expected .Services although a long walk were again superb. Very enjoyable and excellent menu choices.

We came to The Blythswood after hearing so many great things about it but I felt the food was not up to my standered :( Staff were excellent and for this I will book soon and try again.

I booked the Blytheswood Hotel Restaurant for the 2011 office christmas dinner. We were a group of seven. The sevice was excellent. Although it was a Christmas menu, there was a selection of options for each of the three courses and we could choose on arrival, rather than in advance, which is great as you may not know what you're in the mood for until you sit down and have that first drink. I felt the price for the standard of food was excellent (but that is not to be taken as encouragement to increase it!). The restaurant itself has a good vibe which stems from its chic decor and the serving staff had a great manner about them - polite yet friendly. I would definitely recommend the restaurant as would all my colleagues and we look forward to eating there again in the future.
