Restaurant Reviews at Blythswood Square, Glasgow

Having heard glowing reports and exceptional feedback about the Blythswood Hotel, my colleagues and I decided that we would host our team meeting here and tie in a team Christmas lunch at the same time. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were all warmly welcomed and pointed in the direction of our meeting room. Prior to our arrival, I had various requests where were to be put in place in advance of the meeting commencing. All requests were fufilled and exceeded our expectations. At lunch we were welcomed into the Restaurant where the service and attention was second to none. The staff were punctual, smart, attentive, spotless and exceptionally well-mannered. All of our waiters all knew their menu well and could also make recommendations - this isn't something you tend to find these days. The overall experience was a very enjoyable (and relaxing one for me as I'm a PA and made the recommendation to my Director) and pleasureable one. I would certainly use this hotel again for meetings or dining.

We stayed at the hotel overnight prior to Christmas with a couple of friends and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.We reserved a table for our Evening meal and having dined in many of the top restaurants in the city I must comment that this restaurant is in the top bracket! Fantastic food and excellent service! I would return to the restaurant whether staying at the hotel or not and given that there were Xmas party nights going on around us the fact that the service was still personal was a credit to the staff!

We have just had a baby and we had a gift voucher to use and as money was tight it was a nice little treat for us we absolutely loved the ambience we only had afternoon tea but the setting in the salon was amazing very relaxed but pleasant on the eye, the staff were so attentive and pleasant and the food was lovely only criticism was that the tea was a bit weak but it didnt take away from an amazing brunch experience, Id love to win the overnight stay hopefulyl we can get a babysitter.

We combined our christmas party with a special birthday and we couldn't have been more delighted! The food and wine were delicious. The attention of the waiting staff throughout the meal was superb. Can't wait until next year!

Booked a Sunday lunch using an ITISON voucher. The food was delicious and we had excellent service. The meal deal was for a surf n turf plus wine, but we also ordered starters and desserts. Great choice of starters, and any chef who makes an effort with desserts (so many don't)gets a huge thumbs up from me. PS The mushroom soup was outstanding! Our only complaint was that it was a freezing cold day and the place felt cold, but hey, we had a great meal anyway.
