Restaurant Reviews at Blythswood Square, Glasgow

I have been to the Blythswood 3 times now, twice on business and the other purely pleasure. The food was exceptional on all occasions, the staff were great and the hotel is fitted out very well. The hotel is not at all stuffy or pretencious, it a really enjoyable and relaxing place to be. Well done!

Dinner here at start of November, really lovely atmosphere and food great. Staff weren't as attentive as I'd liked....sat waiting for 30 mins on dessert menu and restaurant wasn't busy at this point but quality of food almost made up for that. Have recommended to friends and family,

As a party of ten we had dinner at Blythswood on Sat 5th Nov. We had reserved a table in the Salon for pre dinner drinks and the service and attention to detail was superb. The meal was delicious and the service was exeptional. We had made an error when booking and had really only booked for eight when there was ten of us, we were accomodated with ease and nothing was too much bother.A great evening was had by all and everyone is looking forward to our return.

Went for an evening meal on monday. the Hotel itself is beautiful. The restaruant was nicely set out, however, it does sit right next to the bar, so not as intimate as I would have liked. The meal was lovely, although definately A la carte you were not left hungry. Well presented and quirky ingredients. The staff were very friendly, however, one girl was on her first night and didn't even know where the restrooms were! All in all a pleasant venue for a higher class meal.
