What's On at Blythswood Square
Great 8 Dinner at Blythswood Square
On September 26th 2011, eight of the country’s most skilful chefs forged an alliance collectively known as the ‘Great 8’ and began a 16 month tour of the UK to help raise vital funds for Hospitality Action, a unique and highly effective benevolent fund for the UK hospitality industry.
Every two months the 8 award winning chefs will team up at venues around the UK to deliver a scintillating and delicious eight course tasting menu, including wines to hundreds of members of the public who just love dining out on fresh seasonal British produce cooked with flair and skill.Apart from supporting Hospitality Action, these events uniquely allow top chefs to network and collaborate together by pushing the boundaries of gastronomic excellence. We want to share their passion with you on these very special nights.

Suffering from life altering illnesses such as Parkinson’s Disease, cancer and Multiple Sclerosis
Experiencing poverty, bereavement and domestic violence.
With sick and disabled children.

All of the money they raise goes towards…
Grants for essential items including food, clothing and central heating.
Supporting our often isolated and lonely retired hospitality workers.
Holding seminars via The Ark Foundation to tackle the excessive effects of drugs and alcohol for Industry students and employees
Whether you attend their annual ball, donate a prize or host a Family Member lunch your actions help those in real need across our industry.
