Fantastic and a welcoming service from the minute we stepped foot on the front steps, until we left them again the next day. Upon finidng a greatly priced Spa Break, myself and a friend stayed overnight as we were attending 2 concerts at the Hydro. The Spa was superb and the girls that run it couldnt be more helpful and accommodating. Overall the hotel staff couldn't be more friendly, both on a professional level and a personal level, the hotel itself was luxury, the food was great, but the staff make it what it is! The hotel oozes a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. I will be returning again for sure! :-)
I am a disabled traveller. I have visited Glasgow three times over the past 18 months and can highly recommend this hotel for those of you who need a high standard of care and good facilities. The room designated for an electric wheel-chair user like me is next to the lift and easily accessible The staff look after you and are open to any requests regarding the room you might need resolved.
The room is comfortable and the bathroom has a large shower area and seating if needed. It also has under floor heating and grab rails and raised toilet seat.
I found it easy to feel comfortable and relaxed as the staff were very open and friendly - Glasgow people are good to be around and so welcoming.
The food is excellent and the menus varied and the meals well presented.
This Hotel deserves its 5 star rating and well worth a visit.
stayed in this fab hotel recently for the first time and it was excellent. Staff were helpful, courteous, smiling and appeared happy to work here. This in turn made guests feel welcomed. Room was lovely, no faults with it, spa was amazing, afternoon tea in cocktail bar was really good, dinner was really good, service bit slow, couple staff unsure of what was happening but it was busy and wouldn't fault them in anyway for this as they were still attentive. Again breakfast was ace, offered whatever we wanted, staff were so friendly and happy and smiley. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone, and hopefully we will be back soon. As a last comment, if you cant stay over, go for something to eat, either afternoon tea, lunch or dinner as it is so worth it, good value and enjoyable. well worth visiting this 5 star hotel.
We had an absolutely terrific meal on Friday 21 March with super service from all of the staff we were involved with. The care and attention given to my mum who is in a wheelchair (but without making a big fuss) really made it a special evening.
Thank you very much - we will be back to enjoy the hospitality again!
Our party of 4 loved the the hot stones treatment , facial and Tibetan massage and the thermal experience . So glad we upgraded to the deluxe rooms. Absolutely brilliant space and decor. Breakfast was top notch and will be trying the cocktail bar on our next visit. Staff were great. Will be back!!
