Booked in as a surprise for my partners 50th birthday. He was on his way home from a stint offshore.WOW!!! What a wonderful service was provided. I was given champagne buckets with ice, a lovely room with a little private terrace. Spa was amazing and such lovely friendly people. The restaurant was busy,but we were served amazing food promptly and well(I'm a Chef,so quite hard to please)Consierege ws wonderful and reception staff were a delight. I genuinely can'tfind fault with this wonderful place!! Thankyou all so much for making my time so so special.

Stayed here as a special treat with my mum as a birthday surprise for her and it will always be remembered. Have never had concierge treatment before and it alone has left a lasting memory - superb!! As the majority of comments have stated this was a unique experience from start to finish with everyone happy to help and looking as though they really meant it!! The room was a great size with the most amazingly comfortable beds ever, you really do just sink into them, and I have never seen such large lampshades! The whole spa experience was wonderful, came out feeling super relaxed and the breakfast in the morning certainly set us up for our day shopping. An amazing hotel and I look forward to returning again....

Wedding reception held at the Blythswood Hotel on 02/06/2012. Amazing service from Michelle and David at Events from the time of booking and especially throughout the day. The staff at the Blythswood were fantastic with almost all guests (day visitors and overnight guests alike) saying it is was one of the best wedding venues they have experienced. Thank you Blythswood for a wonderful day.

We stayed in June 2012 for the first time and were met with very polite and courteous reception staff and concierge staff. As this was a special occasion we were upgraded to a junior suite from our prebooked deluxe room without asking which was very much appreciated. The staff in the cocktail bar on the first floor were very attentive and helpful and the cocktails were brilliant. The spa is luxurious and the suite we were allocated was beautiful. We ate in the restaurant which was lovely. The only downside was that we did have to wait for some time at breakfast and had to ask for a cooked breakfast and the buffet table was not replenished when some items had finished. I have only mentioned this as the hotel is five star rated so this was not what I expected. However, this is only a small point and would not put us off visiting the hotel again either for a drink/meal or an overnight stay.

Outstanding service, cleaniness and quality throughout, spa facilities were the best I have experienced, however their opening times for residents are too limited, could have done with a second elevator also, but these are minor quibbles, don't let them discourage you this is a fantastic hotel right smack centre in the heart of Glasgow
