The Town House Company has partnered with Drumgolf, a specialist golf tour management service based in St Andrews, to create two outstanding new golfing itineraries for their guests.
Ideal for golfers who wish to see and experience some of Scotland's finest courses, the four-day golfing itineraries are exclusive to guests staying at a Town House property.
Each comprehensive golfing package is designed for groups of four and includes car hire, a detailed itinerary outlining tee-off times and directions to each of the courses, green fees and 24hr assistance from Drumgolf, who will meet guests at the airport upon arrival.
The Luxury Golf Package
This package includes green fees at three highly respected 18-hole courses, all in close proximity to Edinburgh. Priced £292 per person for four days (excludes accommodation).
Day One
Guests meet a Drumgolf representative at the airport for directions, information packs and car hire, and head to their hotel for check-in. Itineraries, maps and tee off times are provided for each of the three courses selected - each within half an hour from Edinburgh.
Day Two - Craigielaw Golf Club, East Lothian
Just 20 miles from Edinburgh, this 18-hole course is relatively new. Inspired by some of Scotland's greatest links, the course has matured quickly and presents a good test for golfers of all abilities with well-placed bunkers and strong winds from the East Coast.
Day Three - Dalmahoy East Golf Club
The venue for the Solheim Cup in 1992, this 18-hole course is just seven miles from Edinburgh. Built in 1927, the Championship East Course has hosted many major events over the years including the Solheim Cup, The Scottish Seniors Open Championship and the PGA Championship of Scotland.
Daily Four - Dunbar Golf Club, East Lothian
This is a testing Open Championship final qualifying course. The 18-hole course hugs the Scottish coastline and golfers are rewarded with fine seaside views of the Firth of Forth. After taking on the many challenges that Dunbar has to offer the Clubhouse has a justified reputation for it's comfort and informal hospitality.
The Championship Golf Package
This package takes guests further a field to Scotland's high-end, Championship 18-hole courses. Priced at £482 per person for four days (excludes accommodation).
Day One - As above
Day Two - Kingsbarns, nr St. Andrews
With its true links turf, contoured rolling fairways and majestic vistas of the sea this course is considered to be a classic. The sea plays an integral role in the course design and the sandy dunes feature prominently in enhancing the course landscape. As Sir Michael Bonallack (recently retired Secretary of the R&A) remarks - "Kingsbarns might well be one of the last true seaside links sites capable of development in Scotland. It is an extraordinary setting".
Day Three - Gullane No.1, East Lothian
Established in 1884. This course has hosted many Amateur Championships and is an Open qualifying venue. With it's beautifully maintained greens, true links contours and impressive vistas it will challenge the most serious of golfers. The 3rd hole has been recognised as one of the Top 500 golf holes in the world by Golf Magazine (USA).
Day Four - North Berwick, East Lothian
With panoramic views of the Firth of Forth this is a truly memorable course. Many of its holes have been impersonated world-wide and the 15th 'Redan' has been rated consistently by Golf Digest as one of the best holes in the world.
Short break rates are available offering luxury twin / double rooms from £80 per person, per night, including full Scottish breakfast.
