The Scottish Hotel Awards 2014

The Town House Collection, owners of Blythswood Square, Glasgow and The Bonham in Edinburgh are celebrating after receiving four prizes at the recent Scottish Hotel Awards.
The awards recognise hospitality excellence in every department as well as individual employees who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and achievements above and beyond their normal role.

Ali Gunn, trainee Duty Manager at The Bonham Hotel, was over the moon to be presented with the Rising Star, young Manager Award. The marketing department also picked up the coveted Marketing team of the year award. Fiona Strauss who heads up the team commented "We are delighted to be recognised in such a competitive and fast paced industry for this prestigious award".

The Salon at Blythswood Square won the award for the Best bar of 2014. The Salon is located on the first floor of the hotel, which overlooks the leafy Blythswood Square gardens. It has a fun yet relaxed atmosphere and offers inventive cocktails and delicious afternoon tea.

Spa at Blythswood Square were also delighted to receive The Best Urban Spa of 2014 award. Covering an area of 10,000 square feet, the luxury spa boasts 9 beautiful treatment rooms, a thermal suite, two relaxation pools, a chill out lounge and cafe area. The key focus is calming and understated space with wellness and vitality.

All in all it was a fantastic night for The Town House Collection and a great excuse to crack open the Champagne!
