Stayed a week in this lovely hotel. Enjoyed the breakfast, comfortable rooms and staff that were attentive, prompt and friendly. Would like to say a special thank you to Stuart, Harryson, Alice, Jessie and all the others.

Just got back from a week-long stay at the Edinburgh residence. The service is absolutely superb, staff are helpful without being intrusive, the room was only serviced when we wished it, and it was as comfortable a room as I could have wished for. The only down sides were (a) breakfast, which we only had on one day, was good although not spectacular, and (b) the wi-fi connection was abysmal. But those are very small niggles indeed, and nothing compared to how well the staff took care of us. Would definitely stay again!

Just returned from a weekend break at The Edinburgh Residence. Very impressed. Great service, suite was spacious comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the room was a treat. Location is handy for shops & restaurants,and is in a quiet area. Only minor niggle was smoke occassional coming into the room from kitchen staff on their break below, a room specific issue (room 4). One of the best.

Just returned from a 5night break at The Edinburgh Residence, and am so impressed. It is understated elegance with top class service from the staff, rooms are spacious and comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Previous review queried the breakfast....we had breakfast in the room, full Scottish with haggis and black pudding etc and couldn't move afterwards, it was Sunday so relaxed with the papers instead! Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the shops on Princes Street,but is in a quiet lovely area, with very good restaurants nearby. Fantastic relaxed break, nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff and even if I tried hard, could not find any faults here!! Would recommend to everyone.

hotels room are superb. Maintainace and service is great. Only thing that could be made batter is the breakfast. It was standard. When you are in the UK you expect to get that UK breakfast experience, of eggs, bacon, sausages etc and that was missing.
