Johanne Falconer - Appointed Area General Manager of Edinburgh

The  Town House Collection has promoted Johanne Falconer to Area General Manager with responsibility for all the company's Edinburgh properties.

Johanne, who is currently General Manager at The Bonham, joined The Town House Collection in 1999. Since that time, she has developed her managerial career amongst the company's four Edinburgh hotels including the luxury 5* The Howard where she was General Manager for 5 years. Throughout this period she made significant contributions to achieving and maintaining 4 AA Red Stars, gaining 5 star status in 2008 and the development of The Howard's unique butler service.

Before joining The Town House Collection Johanne's background was in catering management for large conferences and banqueting events with companies such as Scottish Leisure Catering and Fife Catering Services.

Commenting on her appointment, she said: 'I have worked with The Town House Collection for around 10 years and seen a variety of changes within the business. The Town House Collection is now one of the leading hotel group's in Scotland and there are some exciting challenges ahead. We have a strong team in place and I'm confident that together we will ensure the continued success of all the properties.'
