Rising Stars Lunch at Blythswood Square

Blythswood Square is an award winning five star hotel in Glasgow's city centre. Not only does it have 100 stunning guest rooms but it also houses an amazing spa, restaurant, bars (including the historic Rally Bar, cocktail bar and champagne bar) and private event areas, a true 5 star proposition.
The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice has developed and grown beyond recognition from its early beginnings in 1983 when it occupied just one Georgian townhouse in Carlton Place, Glasgow. Today it occupies four adjacent townhouses which have been developed to create one building.
Every year they care for over 1,000 patients and their families and the total focus of Hospice staff is to give the highest quality of care to everyone who needs help. However, due to the constraints of their present facility, which has been developed as far as possible, they are being hampered in their ability to grow and develop. In 2011 they therefore unveiled their plans to build a brand new Hospice for the people of Glasgow, which will enhance their current services and allow them to lower their age limit to those aged 15 and above.
Enjoy a 4 course lunch in the Monte Carlo Suite, designed by 8 of our 'Rising Stars' from the kitchen at Blythswood Square.
The chefs will work in pairs to create 4 delectable dishes for you to enjoy. There will also be a raffle to raise money for our designated charity The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
Host Viv Lumsden will interview each chef during the course of the afternoon to discuss their careers so far and ambitions for the future.
