Scottish Hotel Awards 2011

It’s been a great month for the staff at Blythswood Square.  First they celebrated receiving the official five star rating from VisitScotland; then came official partner hotel for the MOBOs; and now the hotel has won Best Spa and Best Five Star Service at the Scottish Hotel Awards.

Hans Rissmann, Managing Director, said: ‘What a great month!  We’re delighted to continue to receive accolades such as these.  It’s great testament to the quality of the product we have here and to the commitment of our staff.  We’re now looking forward to a busy summer season and then to welcoming our VIP guests for the MOBOs.

Leon Trayling, Spa Director, said: ‘The spa opened six months ago.  To receive an award such as this within such a short time is fantastic.  There is no doubt that our spa is world class.  We consistently receive positive feedback from our guests.  We’re confident this award will be the first of many.’
